Electronic Security Canister and Dock System

General Information

AquaSecure is a modular electronic security system developed for the transportation of diamonds or diamond bearing gravel. It has been designed for both field operations and sorting facility use.

The AquaSecure system was designed to be completely tamperproof. Simply put, it cannot be opened without a digital key provided by the Dock.

Overview

The system consists of two parts, the Dock and the Canister.

Docks are bolted to a flange adapter fitted directly to the depositing equipment. It requires a 12V dc connection.

Canisters are the containers used to transport the diamond bearing gravel. They are ruggedly constructed and can tolerate the elements. Canisters are powered from the Dock once mated.

All materials used are of the highest quality and tailored to its function (SS316, HDPE, PU).
Butterfly valve ensures jam free operation. Canisters can be opened when inverted.
Fully waterproof. Electronics are enclosed with potting resin.
Single lever opening and closing, no buttons or switches.
Can be fitted with load cell contents weight indicator/cut-off.

Mechanical locking systems are inherently compromised and often easily bypassed. Electronic systems are specialized and require in depth knowledge to understand the security protocol, let alone defeat it.

The AquaSecure system was designed to be completely tamperproof. Simply put, it cannot be opened without a digital key provided by the Dock.

When a canister is docked, a digital “handshake” is made between the two units. If this is successful, a locking pin engages the canister and it cannot be removed. Only then do the butterfly valve locking pins retract to allow the handle to be moved to the open position. Upon closing the handle, the reverse happens. The locking pin positions are monitored by the on board microprocessor to ensure full engagement. Only then does the dock release the canister and can it be removed.
